After lots of discussion and thought members of the Network came up with ideas for aims and objectives for the Network. Some of these covered marketing and publicity.
Many ideas were put forward about whether a new logo was needed. No consensus was reached on an actual design, but but five key words/phrases were established:
Local
Resilient
Low Carbon
Community
Positive
The million dollar question was how to graphically embrace these terms. There was a suggestion that we should try to raise funds to get a professional design consultant to come up with ideas. In the meantime, the major Footsteps to Resilience 2010 convention was arranged and banners have been produced for this (kindly sponsored by the Co-operative Group).
Why not come along to the convention and see for yourself the design and let us have your comments. Footsteps to the Future is the theme. These banners can be used for future events as well.
